The Pip Box ” Birthday Box” February 2018

The Pip Box is a beauty box whose goal is to help end cosmetic testing on animals through fantastic cruelty-free products inside each box, 50p of every box sold is donated to an animal friendly charity so you know you are doing your bit to help too.
Sofi started The Pip Box as she decided to go cruelty-free with cosmetics…as an animal lover her own dog Pippa inspired her and is the name of the brand.

You can choose from the cruelty free box for £14.99 per month or the cruelty free & vegan box which is also £14.99 a month, you can also prepay for 3 months for £40.50. P&P is £3.35 or £6.95 for Europe.

What is inside the February Birthday Box

*SPOILERS*

Johnny Concert Amplified Eyeshadow & Eyeshadow Brush – This golden eyeshadow is so gorgeous and shimmery this will suit most eyes for a night out on the town. You only need to swipe a tiny amount as it goes a long way, I hadn’t heard of this brand before so I will be checking out what else they do.

In this Pip Box you also get a Johnny Concert eyeshadow brush to apply this to your lids, I have to say the brush is lovely and soft and applied the eyeshadow well and cleaned up lovely too. Verdict 9/10.

Dr Botanicals Kale Superfood Day Moisturiser – This moisturiser sounds great as Kale is high in Vitamin C & E which nourish and protect your skin especially in winter, with no perfumes or colourants this natural product will help you skin look at it’s best. As this product is so fresh you have to use this within 3 months of purchase and for best soothing results keep this in your fridge before using, you will get that soothing calming effect. Verdict 8/10.

Akamuti Chocolate Marshmallow Face Mask – I have had an Akamuti green mask before so I was very excited to see this in the box, when i first opened the pot you can really smell the chocolate scent…it smells like hot chocolate powder. Just like most of their masks you mix with a little water and apply right away leave for 20/30 mins then wash off and this will clean your skin and get rid of any impurities. Verdict 9/10.

Medusa Makeup Matte Lip Paint – This lip paint is a gorgeous nude colour that can be worn day and night, it is a matte lip that isn’t drying on your lips so no cracks…it has a lot of moisture for it being matte. You can add a lip topper for a night out but I love this the way it is. Verdict 8/10.

Argan Organic Hair Oil – I haven’t tried this yet but I love argan oil as it works wonders on your hair…if you suffer from split ends like I do then this will help repair your heat damaged hair. I also love this for after holiday where the sun has caused damage too, this will leave your hair silky soft and looking a lot healthier. You can also use this on your skin to help brighten your complexion. Verdict 9/10.

Jom Fizzy Caramel Snack Pack – I didn’t eat these my fiancé likes sweets so I let him have these, he said he liked them a lot and finished the packet, they are gluten free contain no palm oil and are only 90 calories for the whole pack. Craig’s Verdict 9/10.

Happy Birthday Pip Box I have loved watching you grow over the year since I reviewed your first ever box, I have really enjoyed this Pip box as it was packed full with some lovely products I had not heard of before…my personal favourites are the eyeshadow and the liquid lipstick which is a gorgeous nude colour.

This box was well packaged with bright colours and an info card about the products inside the box. If you want to subscribe to The Pip Box then you can sign up right away here
