AA Skincare – Haircare review

AA Skincare have a new conditioner range out to match their shampoo, I jumped at the chance to review this as I have other products from AA Skincare which are amazing, including a shower gel and eye gel I religiously use. They are a company from the UK who specialise in aromatherapy and natural skincare, they wanted to create an affordable natural brand.

The plant inspired range is Ayurverdic which creates a balance between mind, body & spirit, the 5 new conditioners all contain these properties.

Cedarwood & Peppermint – Deep Cleansing Conditioner

Rosemary, Burdock & Sage – Lift and Repair Conditioner

Amla & Clary Sage – Rejuvenating Conditioner

Peony, Bay & Brahmi – Nourishing Conditioner

Ylang Ylang, Argan & Rosemary – Reviving Conditioner

I reviewed the Peony, Bay & Brahmi shampoo and conditioner, as Brahmi has thickening properties which I need as I have thin hair. It is described by AA Skincare as “a calming and balancing shampoo with anti-inflammatory natural Peony extract and Tulsi powder to help boost hair growth and maintain scalp health for all hair types. Antioxidant-rich Geranium, together with Brahi powder help nourish and repair damaged hair. Palmorosa oil hydrates hair”.

This shampoo and conditioner I have been using for over a week, the scent is very powerful…it is a lovely flower mint scent which awakens you in the mornings. The bottle itself is a push down opening which makes it easy to use, the packaging is typical AA Skincare clear bottle with their label.

I have enjoyed using this shampoo which lathered up and rinsed out well leaving my hair feeling soft, the conditioner I had to use a little more then I would normally but this gave good coverage and again left my hair knot free and soft. It is too early to tell if this will boost hair growth and repair my hair but in the meantime it has been lovely to use and I will continue to finish this hair care range.

I would say to anyone to choose your shampoo and conditioner based on what you want wether it is hair repair, thickening or nourishing and try it for yourself. I personally think you need to try it for a while to see the true benefits, I have dyed blonde hair and this is great for my hair still. You can order your hair care range direct from AA Skincare for £5.94 each.

Thanks for reading.

A&A is a good natural brand, coming form their aromatherapy line. I have used several of their products and find them lovely, so affordable too. Not tried these hair versions, the flower & mint sound lovely.
